God centered living – Seek daily quality time with the Lord – Pray, Meditate

Jesus’s transfiguration and conversing with Moses and Elijah (Matthew 17:1-8), occurs before His resurrection.  He showed His apostles that He was the Son, a Living God, and that others before us are living also.

Mary also lives and her role continues as Mother of God, her numerous apparitions throughout the world encouraging prayers for conversions of sinners, she always points us to Christ.  The Rosary a focus of mediation and contemplation on the life of Jesus, with Mary’s intercessory prayers joined with ours for the conversion of sinners and other prayer intentions.  Mary, the Instrument of Lord and model disciple continues with her purpose to help humanity towards salvation,

Miracles of the Eucharist also show us that Jesus is our Living God because He made it His Body and the wine His blood of the New Eternal Covenant of Salvation (Mark 14: 22-25).  Jesus models to the apostles as High Priest and King of Peace in the order of Melchizedek (Genesis 14: 18-20).  A perpectual memorial that invites us to regenerate daily when we participate in the taking of the Eucharist and then be the missionary that the Lord has called us to be for the salvation of many.  Note that the authority to turn bread and wine into Christ’s Body and Blood was only given to the apostles (priestly men) and men ordained from them to present.

Shroud of Turin is another example linking the past to present through ongoing research on the burial cloth of Jesus.  The shroud containing imaging showing us Resurrection, a Living God that is “I AM” .
